my inbox had around 1,500 emails from Android Central and I can only delete 50 at a time so i want to unsubscribe but I just keep getting the 503 error message,yet clicking on the other embedded link allows me to come here.

How are you trying to unsubscribe -- using the main desktop site, the mobile site, or one of the apps? The most reliable way is to use the main desktop site (unless, of course, that's what you've been trying). Click the gear icon on the right side (next to "Hot This Week" and "Today's Posts), then click General Settings. Scroll down to Default Thread Subscription Mode and edit that.
When you click the gear icon, you can also see Subscribed Threads to see what subscriptions you have.
