Why am I unable to update custom rom cm 12.1 on gt-n5110 Samsung Note 8.0?

unable to update custom rom cm 12.1 on gt-n5110 samsung note 8.0

unable to install the latest build available in the cyanogen update directly downloaded from the site. currently have 4.4.2 samsung galaxy note 8 gt-n5110. Please help. Initially I got status 7 error, after searching for the error, edited the file till the status bla bla message removed all the code before that and tried again. Got the installation aborted error without the status 7 message. Please help. appreciate it.

Are you installing the correct version for your specific tablet? Have you tried emailing the developer to see if they have a fix?
