Hi guys

I have HTC One M8. Android System drains my battery in an unbelievable way. I did a reset factory and charged it 100%. Then I powered it on and after 6 min while the screen all of the time was off, the battery got 98%. In the following, I turned off the screen again and incredibly after 21 min without any usage the battery got 94%.

I really don't use the phone and the battery drains such this. Just guess what happen if I turn on screen and use it?!!! I really confused. I took 2 shot. Pls check them out.

(When I charge my father's G3 after 5 min using wifi the battery is 100%! Still no 99%!)

Welcome to Android Central! The problem with figuring this out is that Android System could represent something the system is doing, or it could also be a 3rd party app that's utilizing some part of the system. The first thing to try is booting into Safe Mode: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10853. If the battery drain goes away, then I'd suspect some app you installed is inappropriately utilizing an Android System component.
