Why are half of my photos suddenly showing up as unsupported files?

I tried going through my gallery only to find out half and I kid you not, half of my photos are not showing up. There were 2 collumns of unsupported files throught all my photos and I dont know what happened, I cant even delete them. Please help me out s5 wizards!

Welcome to Android Central! Are they on Internal Storage or an SD card? If the latter, they probably got corrupted, which is unfortunately not that uncommon, especially with Samsung devices.
