Why are my apple mails stuck in my outbox and 'queued'n my samsung phone - not sending

[Android Central Question]

I am receiving mail ok but whenever I send a reply to an email - the email gets stuck in my outbox with text in red stating 'queued'.

It doesn't get sent!
