Why are my home and multi task buttons all of the sudden broken?

I got my galaxy s7 from best buy no less than a moth ago on Verizon. It has been working great untill today. Halfway through today my home and multi task buttons all of the sudden stopped working. My back button still works fine. I began to search the internet and came across some threads that recomened resetting (via home and volume down buttons) and deleting recently installed or updated apps and still nothing. I have figured out that this is software because the on screen home and multi task buttons that you can enable via the accessibility menu also do not work. I soon also noticed that notifications are not coming through. My phone buzzes and the LED lights up but nothing in the notification tray. Sliding down with 2 fingers no longer works to get full options and I cannot press the setting button in the notification tray. I even booted into safe mode and still nothing. I have tried all I can think of and all the internet has to offer so please help. Thanks guys.
