Why are my new text messages deleting when I open them?

My new text messages are coming threw then as I go to open them they delete I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and have seen many people are having the same problem I have already turned off the delete old message feature and it is still happening I have called att customer support and they couldn't even give me answers how do i stop this so I can read my messages

As a temporary fix, until AT&T finds out what's wrong, try Textra SMS.
