Android Central Question

I've read so much about the over saturation of photos on Android phones but can't find anything to fix it. It's not about the display of the phone itself (I have the Huawei p10). Even when I view the images on a computer or another device the colours are off, in particular reds. It's making my photos look cheap, as though I've put a filter on them. I'm looking for a solution that's easy and permanent. Changing the settings on the p10 only allows 3 different levels of saturation, contrast and brightness and it doesn't stay permanent; I have to change it every time. Also pro mode is great but still blows up reds. Right now I'm having to use an app to edit my photos every time. Does anyone know of a live camera app I can use that will bring down the brightness of reds?

Do you have a sample pic we can see?

Different camera apps handle colors differently. There are a number of free ones, so try them all and see which one suits you best. (I assume that, if there was a clear plastic cover on the camera lens, you've removed it.)

I get really over saturated photos as well with the main camera which is really odd, I personally can get a much sharper and more detailed picture with my Nexus 5x, so either my p10 has a faulty camera or its overhyped!

I doubt the 5x has a better picture quality. But can you post a comparison pics

Double down on that request. I find it odd that the nexus 5x takes better pics. Would really like to see a comparison

I'd like to see an example pic as well.

how do I send pictures on this forum so I can show the examples of the p10 and Nexus 5x side by side?

If you use Tapatalk then there's a file attach button at the bottom left when replying to messages uploadfromtaptalk1509977367703.jpg

Yeah messages work pretty well on Tapatalk
Downloaded Tapatalk and so far it's alright. The official apps itself are a little more organized. But I do like the more features tapatalk offers. I gotta get used to the app first. Also love the dark theme mode
