Why are my pics showing up in 2 locations?

I recently downloaded a pic organizing app (FOTO Gallery). As I move my pics and organize them, I am still seeing them in the phone's gallery. My memory is running low. I only want the pics in 1 location. Are they actually being saved twice and using twice the memory?

The Gallery app is not an actual location, it just shows all media from your phone (pictures and video). It'll show what the folder is called, but the actual file can be anywhere in your phone.

If the organizing app is moving the files to a single folder, you'll still see the pictures in the Gallery, but now under a single folder instead of whatever folders you had before.
