Why are my screenshots so blurry on my Sony Z3?

I'm trying to take a screen shot of my game schedule on a website through chrome, but every time I do, I open the picture in my photo album and its beyond blurry.
the screenshot itself should be crystal clear as thats the way its currently being viewed as on the screen. but nope. take a screenshot from pushing the power button and select screen shot, and i get a blurry image.

is there something I'm doing wrong?

Welcome to Android Central! What do other screenshots look like if you take them of the homescreen or anywhere else besides Chrome?

I'm sure this won't matter, but what if you take the screenshot in the usual way (i.e, press and hold Power and Vol Down simultaneously for about half a second)?
