You mightve accidentaly turned on a setting to make them store there by default try going through ur sim card messages settings and sms settings

Hello!
Possible reasons:

1. Check your settings, may be the is an option to store your texts on sim card.
2. Some carriers may choose to store text messages directly to the phone's internal memory rather than the SIM card.
3. May be the memory is full

Hello everybody. I have a similar problem on my Galaxy core running Android 4.2.2.
Just done a factory-reset, non apps on phone, no threads in messages, clean phone. I tried SIMs from two different operators (3 and TIM), and with both operators SMS are received on SIM. Problem is that after a while, SIM becomes full and does not accept anymore text messages without alerts. Once SIM is cleaned up from text messages, incoming SMS are received regularly. I checked both with 3 Mobile support and with Samsung support, but they are answering it's not their fault....
Any suggestion about how to avoid text messages to be saved on SIM ? Alternatively, do you have any suggestion to automatically delete SMS from SIM ?
