Why are my whatsapp calls on pc dropping immediately after answering and switching off the app?

[Android Central Question]

Every time I make a whatsapp call on the pc, it doesnt go through. I cant answer any calls on pc either. It behaves the same with either outgoing or incoming calls.

It was okay at the beginning for about a month then things turned south immediately I updated whatsapp. I am not having any joy since I prefer to answer calls on pc and not the cell phone.

Any idea on how to solve this problem?

Any updates available on your pc version? I only use the app one unless some members here can chime in
