why are some of my apps grey and the bottom of my screen is black and different colors

so like i probably droped it or something but idk so my phone is the Samsung galaxy 7 j prime and the bottom of the screen is black and some of the apps are not responding to me tapping on them and i dong know what to do

If a phone is dropped, the falling-through-the-air part is okay - the phone is still in perfect condition - but after impact, it is unlikely to be. Damage such as that that you describe is typical, requiring repair, or, if cheaper, a replacement phone.
