Why are text conversations completely disappearing on my S6 Edge +?

why are text conversations completely disappearing on S6 Edge +

Galaxy S6 Edge +
certain text conversations have totally disappeared.
I can only find the conversation through the search option.
2nd issue is with certain text messages/conversations, the msgs are not in order.
my text reply falls 'above' the last msg received.

Check your system date and time. If that doesn't resolve it, if your on att, disable messages backup and sync. Then clear data on stock messages app and see if it goes away.
