No I keep my wifi calling off because it's unreliable in my opinion. Verizon is my carrier
Funny thing is my previous phone a note 9, one of the best ever made, was experiencing a lag in sending texts and emails. No one could figure out the issue. There's was nothing else wrong with the phone. It was a great phone. But because sending emails and texts is of the most importance for my job I decided to bite the bullet and by, for the first time ever, a brand new good phone, instead of a used liked my note 9 or second hand which most my others were. And I'm having even worse issues. I have researched over there last couple days thru Android Central and read other similar issues with others. Yesterday I did change my text app to the highly recommended chomp messages and there is no lag in taking my typing. It catches it from first word instead of second. The words are more accurate and I'm spending less time fixing them. Today at some point I'll know whether talk to text cuts off while another function is tripped.
And to add,... Yesterday two phone calls I had the other caller could not hear me. One was Bluetooth one was not. These were before messaging switch, not that it should make a difference regarding calls. Also, I installed avast just to insure no malware/spyware... Nope was already using Kaspersky.
May I ask a question, I turn off background data on a lot of apps like games and things that should not be a problem for the functionality of the phone. What shirts of things should I not do that to. Also I read about missing bands in 5g .. is this true? That's screwy. Also read about a certain number that should be within the phone that gives it the correct communication with your carrier in order for it to receive and server messages correctly and efficiently. Can't remember what it was called... Do you know what this is or how to scare that all the right detrimental components and setting are correct for property functionality. It's love to be able to bring my phone to an informed specialist to check it all. But send not many know what they are really doing anymore
