AC Question

Comparing the prices with the American Market, there is about 13K (Indian Rupees) difference in the pricing. What could be the reason behind that?

Tax? Strength of economy? It is the same for me in the UK, although I'd refer to them as high prices rather than use your term of "overpricing'.

I guess that's due to the strength of the economy. It's like 650$ in the US, which should actually be around 44,000 RS:-

Retailers sell merchandise for whatever they can get for it - there's no incentive to sell it for less than they can get. (A few honest retailers might - I used to when Cingular almost delivered money to phone stores in the NYC area by the truckload - but the vast majority will sell things for as much as won't decrease their earnings. [The more you charge, the fewer you sell.])
