Their warranty policy clearly say that you have 35 days from the day you buy it to return it (to ZTE) for a full refund. There is no indications that if you buy it via a third party vendor the return must be to the seller and not to them, I highly doubt they will leave themselves open for legal troubles because of this.
What it was confusing was that apparently some of the original vendors were not showing the Passport 2.0 warranty as part of the phone features so people were having doubts if that means that the warranty won't be available if buying from those sellers, but again, I highly doubt they will leave out 1 or 2 of their few resellers from their passport 2.0 program, anyways, Newegg is indeed one of their official reseller and Newegg even lists the Passport 2.0 full features on the phone description, giving the clear implications that it's covered for both, newegg return policies and ZTE Passport 2.0 coverage.
