Why are videos playing in slow motion on my S6?

[AC Question]

why are videos playing in slow motion on my S6?

I have had m S6 for nearly 2 months now and any videos I watch be it on the Internet or videos I have recorded go into slow motion with the sound going at normal speed.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hey I just bought a note 5 and am having the exact same problem. Have you got any any answers yet?

Go to developer options and turn on : Use Awsomeplayer. Then restart the device.
It should be good now ☺

Hi, got a Galaxy s6 about a month ago but after installing multiple updates videos are playing slow, while audio keeps playing normal.

Tried shifting from Nuplayer to Awesome player in Developer options but the result is the same... Still have plenty of space and RAM available.
Any further suggestions?

It worked for Samsung Galaxy Note3 also. I Selected Use NU player instead of AwesomePlayer.................Thanks alot
