Why are YOU getting the new Nexus 4?

I'm fairly new to Android, but I want faster updates. I'll keep my S3 on standby in case I decide vanilla Android isn't worth losing my expandable memory, and LTE. The $350 price tag for the 16gb model is a no brainer.

- Stock Android / no bloat
- Runs on Straight Talk
- PhotoSphere looks awesome
- TIMELY UPDATES!!!!

I demolished my htc of 2 years, i used to go through phones like candy but i repaired this one myself a bit, ordering parts to keep it as a space but now I originally wanted a Chinese phone called the Xiaomi 2, however there marketing plan is silly releasing units it 50k, then 250k etc per half month without shipping to Australia you had to order through other sites.Which is a pain to get a hands on. I was looking on the forums and someone posted they took too long to release it now others have 2GB ram like the Nexus 4. SO i thought i would give it a look, very similar specs, slimmer, I could tolerate the no sd card. SO i decided to get the Nexus out of convenience. I just love the affordability and specs which come at a low price.

Guys, white version soon? Or....?

I have a White 4s now and I cannot wait to get back to having a black daily driver (my Photon is on light duty).

Always wanted a nexus device after I started reading the forums about the pure Google experience and swift updates. Also, my OG Evo is getting a little long in the tooth and development is finally drying up a little so it's time to upgrade. I want to take advantage of the latest Android games that only run well on the latest hardware. Finally, Sprint's network just blows and this is my excuse and perfect time to jump ship.

I was planing of getting a cheap Windows Phone to hold out for the next wave of devices. Saw this phone and was blown away from the value, I know next to nothing about Android but it's just too good to pass out.

I've been using the Nexus line since the Nexus S. By the time I decided to purchase Nexus One it was no longer sold.

Hey man, I've had a few WP's a DVP, an HD7 and an Arrive. Really nice OS, but trust me when I tell you that the MP just isn't there yet. Hopefully soon though.

Also, if you really love that Metro look check out "Launcher 7" in the Google Play Store, it's amazing.

I'm definitely going to do that.

I'm switching my main phone to verizon (soon I'll be selling verizon phones), but this will be my play phone because at this price and this quality it can't be passed up.

The look is nice but I just like things that work. Which it does for me for the most part, I'm only skipping because this new launch phones are kind of weak and I want something powerful when I renew contract. I'll wait till next year, but a change of OS should be refreshing, especially coming from Pure Android. I so far only use two google products.

Youtube which I love, Chrome which I dislike =).

Oh man, you'll have zero issues with a Nexus "just working."

Normally, a version or two ago, I'd suggest giving the learning curve some time - but Google has been working really hard at making Android more "out-of-the-box" consumer friendly as well, so I think you'll enjoy the device and its flexibility.

May I ask why you don't like Chrome?

Uhh, do you live under a rock? The phones that are suppose to/have already came out are straight BEASTS! What are you expecting? The N4 WILL BE THE BEST PHONE WHEN ITS RELEASED NOV 13th.

Oh I mean, I don't like he launch WP8 devices and I'm holding off for the next wave. Chrome has never work well for me, youtube playing is really bad so I had to use Firefox just for videos. It contanstly gives me the "oops google couldn't open the device" and I'm getting a lot of pop up and freezing and slowing. I had so far restarted it from zero three times and it always had the same problems after it. Is the web browser I use but I can't say I enjoy it.
