Why are earphones not working when I play a radio station, YouTube, TED Talks, etc. (I don't play games) but they work with a phone call? I've tried 3 sets of earbuds and none work, although until about a week ago they did. I make sure the connection is secure/firm, earphones symbol is displayed on the screen so I know they are in, but I can't hear anything any more.
I figured out the problem and am posting for others who might have this problem -- I sprayed compressed air in and it seems to have cleaned it out and now it works just fine. So, try compressed air and see if it works for you too.
