Why aren't my music players working?

Music players aren't working.

I have vlc, mx player, moodagent, google music player on my phone , but none of them are detecting any media files on my sd card. this is happening just after i formatted my device before that all the players were working perfect, I even updated them, but all gone in vain. Please help. I have acer liquid e2.

Check the SD card, it might have a new partition created and your music players are no longer on the new partition after you formatted the device.

what is partition? i cannot locate any folder named partition on my sd card. I opened the file commander and then sd card seen all the folders but any folder named partion.
