Why can’t I send an email on my S9 plus

I can receive emails on my S9 plus but I am unable to send an email any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using the stock Email app, the Gmail app, or something else? Which email provider are you using? If you're using the stock Email app, make sure the outgoing SMTP server settings are correct for the email account.
