Why can I not download videos to my sd card on a LG k8

[Android Central Question]

I have installed an sd card in my LG k8 but when I try and download a video, it tells me there is not enough space. Video requires 1.6gb, 29kb a available.

Where did you get this SD card? Many SD cards purchased from eBay sellers are counterfeit. You may try this app to see if your card is genuine. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.humanlogic.sdi

Although I can't remember any smaller microSD card than a 2GB. And these days, they're probably using 4GB or larger cards as counterfeiting bases.

Welcome to Android Central! Where are you downloading the video from? Are you sure the phone is trying to save it to the SD card, rather than Internal Storage?
