Why can i not receive a text from my bank

The bank use a 6 digit number and can be classed as spam, i am not getting the text but i am getting text from people.
I am on android 8.01..
What's the solution

Does anyone get texts from them?

Make and model of phone?

Which texting app?

Have you discussed this with their tech support prople? (This is the most important one, because they probably would have gone over the other 3 with you.)

Try adding the six digit number to your contacts.

If their mobile service provider don’t support short-codes sms, it won’t work.
