Why can't Bixby hear me?

I got my S9+ a few days ago. I tried to test out Bixby by holding down the button on the left, Bixby will then activate and then immediately say something like, "Oh, I didn't quite catch that. Wake me up and try again".

What can I do to solve this issue? I'll be pleased to answer any follow up questions.

Make sure to keep holding down the button while speaking your command; not letting go when the Bixby icon appears. Treat it like an old walkie-talkie or Nextel phone with a "Push to Talk" button.

If you are holding it down even when it says it doesn't understand you, then I'm not sure.

Try bxActions to change what the Bixby as well as other physical buttons can do.
