Why can't I back up WhatsApp images on Google+?

[AC Question]

Everytime I tick the Auto Back Up icon to back up my WhatsApp images, I get the message "Unfortunately, Google stopped working" and the app shuts down. This is only happening with WhatsApp images. Can somebody help please?

I'm having the same issue... Don't know what's going on with it but I hope someone does.
