Android Central Question

Ive have been using my lg g7 thinq for over a year now and i started to notice my battery life being shorter in the last couple of months,so i decided to buy a new one and replace the original battery. I did that succesfully, i charged it up to 80% (when i first booted the phone with the new battery it was at 54%) and started using the phone with no problems at all. Last night, (a day after i replaced the battery) i was watching videos on youtube, listening to music etc when i noticed the battery level was at around 16%. A couple of minutes later it reached 15% and then the phone died,it didnt shut down, it was like the battery died. I pluged it in my wall outlet, the battery-notification light blinked, then the screen turned on but it showed 0%. I left it there to charge for like 15 minutes but it wasnt charging at all,the charging brick was cold and the screen still was black with 0% still showing.
What sould i do?

i did open it up again to check the connections, but i didnt see any problems at all,i even disconnected the battery and reconected it but still the same result

Welcome to Android Central! Where did you get the battery from? Was it an OEM battery, or a 3rd party manufacturer? Can you ask them for a replacement?

And stop draining batteries below 45% (50% is actually the point at which you should charge, but if it reaches 45% and you can't charge, turn the phone off! Constantly draning the battery to 15% will kill it quickly, as you found out. (The battery should last 3-4 years, at least.)
