Why can't I create a folder for my offline photos on my Acer Chromebook?

I would like to make a folder for my photos that I have uploaded onto my Chromebook from my camera, but whenever I go to the setting to do that, it has the option unavailable. Can someone please help me? I need to be able to make a folder for a school project!

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using the Files app? Open Files, click on the Downloads folder in the left column, then right-click in the main window (or tap the touchpad with two fingers) -- you should see New Folder as an option. Select that to create a new folder, then move or copy the photos from the main Downloads folder to that new folder.
