Why can't I download anything from the Play Store on my Samsung Avant?

Welcome to Android Central! What happens when you try to install an app? Do you get an error message? Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?

Go to the App Manager, select Google Play Store, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Do the same for Download Manager. Now try again.
