Why can't I find a Bose Soundlink with G3?

Can't find Bose Soundlink with G3

My LG G3 can't find my Bose Mini Soundlink via bluetooth. I t works with my husbands G3 perfectly. I have tried to let my phone be seen by other BT devices and it only finds my Samsung sound system. Are there any driver updates that need to be downloaded?

Let the Bose be seen by other devices (make it discoverable). It won't be while it's connected to another phone. (Letting your phone be discoverable lets them find your phone - you want your phone to find another device - the opposite.)

There are no drivers that can be downloaded for Android - at all. Bluetooth is Bluetooth and Android handles it.
