Why cant i find the File Manager in Android 11

Which tablet do you have? Android 11 is the Android version, but there can be many differences in user interface and preinstalled apps among various devices from various manufacturers.

If you look in the App Drawer, you don't see any app called "Files" or something similar? If not, you can always install a file manager from the Play Store -- I would recommend Files by Google.

Ok, that's still the Android version (Android Go is the scaled-down version of Android, designed for budget devices with much less powerful specs). Who's the manufacturer, and what's the model name/number? You can find it in Settings>About Tablet.

I will get back to you on that I got something's to do and thanQ Diddy it's so sad without B.I.G here I can only imagine what he would have done

I found Files in storage but now I can't figure out how to move stuff to my SD card Android 10 was much simpler

You mean you found a file manager app called Files? Can you show a screenshot of what it looks like?

Not file manager I found the file folder in storage then go to internal storage open that then files . How would I share a screen shot here I see no function to do that

So I go to storage open that then internal storage open that then files and open that I see no function to share a screen shot

I cannot find the File Manager in Android 11 tablet addition where is it
I know you found the internal Android file manager, but if you have Google Play, you can always install "Files by Google". That is their file manager app. Sure it has links in it to Google Drive, but you don't have to use that. Most other file manager apps in the Play Store are loaded with ads, so I'd avoid them like the plague.

Samsung has their own File Manager app for their devices that's really good, but I don't think it works on non-Samsung devices. The only other file manager app I use is the Asus File Manager. I use it on my Amazon Fire Tablet. It's not on Google Play - it's supposed to only be for Asus devices - but you can find it on APKPure or APKMirror, and works on any other android device.

Have you figured out the brand and model name/number yet? That might help us figure out what file manager comes with the device.

I can't find any information online that specifically mentions if there's a stock file manager app. If you can't find one in the App Drawer, then install Files by Google from the Play Store.

Search apps to SD card in play store and choose a popular one. I use mixplorer silver for my file manager, but I don't have SD slot so I've never used it to move apps. Great file manager though, especially if rooted.

Thank you

Oh yeah will that app also allow me to move files, media to my SD card I would think so right I have a gallery but I see no function to move to SD card though there is a function to move apps to SD card which Android 10 didn't offer weird thanX again

Files by Google can move files to the SD card. Moving an app to SD is a system feature that's relatively old, and not supported on most modern phones now. SD cards are slower and less reliable than onboard memory, so it's generally not a good idea to move an app to SD.
