Select any file, then tap the 3 dot menu button to the right of the file, then "Move to." Do you see options for Internal Storage and SD Card come up at the bottom?

Thank you

I will check that out and get back to you thnX

I just took a look at that that tells you how to move apps only which Android 11 allows Android 10 did not
What I an looking to do is move files n photos to my SD card.

Ohhh lol ok. You can easily do that with mixplorer. I use the paid version though. I don't have sd card slot, but I'll show you by using a USB stick with adapter.

I was hoping to talk in between pictures but didn't work out lol. You can see no external storage, then i plugged it in and it showed up in left panel. I chose what I wanted to move from internal storage, opened menu and chose move to. Then I chose external storage in drop down, created a folder and moved it over. You can see downloads folder is no longer in internal storage. The downloads folder I moved had 2 apks in it too. It's very easy.

I used to do it on my OnePlus 7t as well running android 10.

I don't get what you mean. Did you download mixplorer, or any other file explorer really, and try it? If you're wanting to move files and photos then you should be able to just like you would on a computer.

It should be simple like Android 10 was I'm not to pleased with Android 11 Go Addition- Tablet but hey it's what I got so

Moving stuff in Android 10 was much easier geesch should be 1. 2. 3

I'm on Android 11 and it's very simple, I just showed you how. Should work with any file explorer that picks up your SD card. I feel like you're not trying it lol

It's the same as if you were just moving files around in your internal storage from one folder to another one.

Does your tablet show the SD card In a file explorer app? I guess I'm not understanding your problem completely lol, I'm sorry

It is simple if you use Files by Google. It's not so much the Android version -- it has more to do with the manufacturer and which file manager they preinstall on the device (if any).

As just mentioned. It's not the Android version - the OS itself does not come with a standalone film manager. Its up to the various manufacturers to decide if they want to include a file manager - either self-developed (like Asus and Samsung), or work with an existing developer to make one for them. Google has made their own available, which has been suggested several times, and I don't understand why you haven't just tried it already.

Do you not have the Play Store available on your device?

What device did you have before?

Must be me then

Must be me

I guess it's me then

No, I don't think it's just an issue with you -- anyone else with that tablet presumably has the same issue of not having an obvious file manager. We would recommend the same thing to those other people as well, which would be to install a good file manager from the Play Store, like Files by Google.
