Why can't I find the quick memo app on my new LG G6?

My husband and I have the same phones, got them the past couple days. Wondering why mine doesn't have the Quick memo app in it, you know the one that comes pre installed. I have saved notes on my old G4 that I wanted to transfer to the new one. My husband didn't have a problem transferring his, since all he had to do on the new phone is to sync with his email and all his notes from his old phone automatically showed up. I tried going on Google play but there is no quick memo app like the one preinstalled. Only a gazillion memo apps that is not the LG one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Now that you say it, I can't find it either and noticed that I must have installed one from the play store when I got the phone. Maybe they got rid of it? I'll keep looking to see what's going on

Ok I found something. I went to the LG SmartWorld app. I found a memo app that's safe to say that they recommend. See below:

Quickmemo for my T-Mobile version has to be installed in the settings.

Settings>about phone>update center>app updates.

That's the one that has the capture plus toggle.

Thanks for your replies guys! I actually tried TylerLV76's suggestion went to settings2x and sure enoigh there were a few LG apps sitting there that I to click download. Yay! Found the quick note app there and now its starting to load my notes from my old phone when clicking sync.

Glad you got it back. Some carriers (Sprint) removed that section for some reason.

I remember reading something about that when I first got my G6. But, I have used QuickMemo+ for years, on my G4 and G6, and have never had any battery drain issues with it.

I use the adb console via PC. Once the LG phone drivers are installed and the option enabled in developer options, it's just a quick command to remove it.

What you want to do is go to Google play store and download software updates then look for app updates then go in it and then download quick memos
