Android Central Question

I have a Moto G6, for some free months but recently I haven't been able to see hear audio from my apps, Spotify, YouTube or even from my browser. I had made sure to turn off Bluetooth and restart my phone but nothing. What's weird is that when I go to setting and select my volume and turn up and down my ring and alarm volume, I hear it. Also, when I restart my phone I hear it jingle, " Hello, Moto" but I can't hear anything else. Is there anything else I can do?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you certain the Media volume slider is turned up? Remember that this is separate from the Ringtone/Notification and Alarm volume sliders.

When you tap one of the volume buttons the ring / system volume appears on the screen. Tap the little arrow on the right and you should then be able to see and adjust all volume, including Media. Looks like this:

I also had the same problem on my moto g6(64 GB)
This is how I fixed it-
1)Go to google app
2)Open settings
3)select voice
4)Switched off everything on that

After 10 minutes my phone was back to normal.
Hope it helps:-)

No audio with Moto g6. Some of the Moto g6 have a issue with the firmware. I previously had a Moto g6 play. I had no audio when i attached headphones. I looked on the internet there was some acknowledgement from Motorola that it maybe a firmware issue. And my cellphone fix it store says that they are impossible to fix and parts are hard to come by. Luckly I was still under warranty so I returned the phone.
