Why can't I install Microsft OneNote on my smartphone?

Hi,

I have an HTC One M8. When I search the Play Store on my phone for a OneNote app, I don't see the official app in the results.
When I google it on my computer, I find it but it says that the app is not compatible with any of my devices. Why?

Edit: nevermind, downloaded and installed the apk.

You might find that the developer just set it up wrong, so it works on your device, but the Play Store is being told tit won't. Or you may find that it sort of works, but not completely, or not correctly.

Perhaps there are some compatibility issues about play store and the OneNote apk you had downloaded.

You may try to get the latest and official Microsoft OneNote from Amazon Appstore.
