Why can't I log into Skype on my MXQ Android Box?

[AC Question]

I can't log into skype on my mxq android box

When i type in my Microsoft e-mail and password i get, can't log in at this time, try again later. Tried several times, no luck. Went into skype app and clear cache, no luck.

Have you tried to log in from another device successfully into Skype?

Could be a server issue from the other end.

I can log into skype with no issue on my upstairs desktop computer,

I can log into skype with no issue on my upstairs desktop computer. My android box is downstairs and uses wi-fi...

Desktop client for Skype is different than using the Skype app on an Android device. I would give it up to 24 hours. If it's still not worjing, may try contacting Skype to see if they have similar reports.
