I am struggling to get a decent answer to this question. Like many people, part of my job involves making and receiving phone calls. Often I have to call a non-contact number from my history. I don't know the specific number, but I know when I made the call.
So I want to organise my call log by date - eg all calls made on Weds 1st November shown in time order, then below all calls made on Tues 31st October, and so on. .
Blackberry OS had this system and it worked perfectly. Why don't Android offer this feature? Showing details like "Yesterday" or "5 days ago" and having to press each number to check the details might be ok for occasional users, but for business users it is inefficient and time-wasting. It doesn't make any sense why this feature isn't available, even via third party apps.
