Why cant i receive any pictures or screenshots

I have a Samsung Galaxy 8+ and when someone sends me something like a picture it downloads then it says can not download in multi message or something like that but I'm not in a multi message text so confusing

MMS - Multimedia Message Service. that's how pictures are sent in texts.

Make sure that your APN is set up correctly. Ask your carrier for assistance, since the APN is carrier-dependent. The phone uses the data in the APN to download pictures. (It has a separate section for mobile data, so you may be getting mobile data and not MMS, so if they tell you that if mobile data is working so the APN is set up correctly, ask for someone who knows what s/he is talking about.)
