Why can't I remove all of Cleanmaster?

[AC Question]

cannot remove all of cleanmaster

I uninstalled CM from my moto g (2015) I checked my memory the apps use and parts of CM are still there! (com.cleanmaster.security and com.cleanmaster.mguard) Is there any way to get rid of these?

Hi, welcome to the forums! Do you have any other app by Cheetah Mobile still installed in your phone?

Hi...I looked at all my installed apps and cannot find any others by Cheetah Mobile.

Thanks for registering! Do they have any data or are they just empty files/folders? It's possible that after uninstalling the app some files were left behind.

Not sure. I went back to look again and now I can't find them. Maybe since it was under app usage, and it was in a 3 hour time period, it was showing up?! But it WAS actually deleted. Not sure if I'm making any sense. Thanks for your input!!

Yeah, that make sense I think you checked the average memory use right after uninstalling Clean Master, so you got the memory (RAM) used in the last three hours. It didn't mean that the app was still installed, running and using your storage.
