Why can't I resize my widgets?

Hi, earlier I have been able to resize my widgets by pressing on them for a sec and then dragging the sites. When I press the widgets now, they "pop" out like always, and I can replace them on the screen, but I cant resize them. A blue circle appears in the middle of the widget and 4 blue dots, one in each side; but i can't drag the sides.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

You should still be able to.
Reboot your phone and clear your cache partition.
