Why can't I retrieve contacts?

Cannot retrieve contacts

My S3 screen is black and I cannot retrieve or sync my contacts to my S5. Hooked my S3 up to computer and cannot locate contacts.

Go onto the Samsung website.
Click the Find my phone button or Simply login.
Login Using your Samsung Account you used to have on your smartphone.
All the Options regarding using your smartphone remotely will be available on the screen.
There will be an option on the left hand side of the screen to unlock your screen remotely.
Connect with your USB Cable and KIES will allow you access to your files.
