Why can't I see Apps I've downloaded on my HTC One M8?

For some reason, I cannot see several Apps I've downloaded or were on my phone, such as Facebook, Wikipedia - although when I go back to Play Store, it looks like they are already installed. Can anybody help me, please?

Welcome to Android Central! You don't see them in the App Drawer? Or are you looking on the homescreen?
