AC Question

I have a Google Nexus 7 tablet for my business. I wanted to connect a handheld UPC scanner to it using the USB port so that I scan merchandise. The problem is that I need my N7 to be fully cahrged all the time. I decide to try a wireless charger! Great Idea! WRONG! For some reason when my N7 is on the wireless charger, the USB port does not work and therefore my scanner is not working! Anyone have any idea why!!?? I'm desperate!

Unfortunately this is the way the hardware is designed. I don't think there is a workaround for this aside from charging the device to the capacity needed then make the USB connection and transfer files. If you must charge while transferring files then consider a wireless transfer solution that allows you to move files via WiFi.

As I recall, over in xda there are instructions to get USB charging to work whole usb otg is also running. If the wireless charging is through the pogo pin connection, I think that you're out of luck.
