why can't I view my pictures or watch any videos on gallery on my Samsung galaxy s5 ?

Yesterday I recorded a video and then when I tired to watch it, it wouldn't let me. The gallery app would freeze or it would come up blank. So I tired the video app and it played for like 2 seconds and freeze as well. I cleared the cache, forced the app to stop and I turned it off a bunch of times and still nothing. Please help.

Have you tried clearing the data for the app, not just cache? Also is the video on your SD card or in your phones internal storage?

Yes I tired it all. And yes the video is on my SD card,but I have never had this problem until last night.

Just the video app on my phone and that's were it would load for 2 seconds and then freeze.

Hey I hope this message help you all. So I have a s5 also and I had the same problem, the solution to this problem is that u need to have at least 4.14gb on ur internal storage to make you system run smoothly. Best way is to delete un reasonable stuff you don't need and make the space you need. For me I didn't need to delete any apps I have on just the stuff I downloaded and it will also tell you some things that can help if you go to settings and go to storage. Hope this helped you all out

My fix was simple. My USB setting was "charge only." Just had to change that setting.
