Extreme charge time; full 24 hours for 0 - 100% and fast charging toggles off and back on when I insert original charger and cable. Recharges so slow that when browsing while charging, the net charge is negative (drains).
Cache wipe did not solve anything.

it is not a cord or plug issue. my phone will not ready a fast charger. when i plug it in, it actually disables fast charging toggle switch. i take same exact cord setup into someone else phone and "fast charging" immediately appears.

i cannot find a fix for this. phone is garbage?

I'd still try with another cable to make sure, but it could be that either the port on your phone is faulty, or the charging circuit/battery is. In any case (unless the cable/charger switch works), you should take it in for repair.

Try wireless charging and see what happens. May well be the port. They do tend to wear out over time, thats what happened to the charge port on my S6 Edge. If that doesn't help, you may need to consider sending it in for repair, or if still under warranty it have insurance, consider replacing it.

That's almost always indicative of a bad battery. On an S7? Yes. If you mistreat the battery badly enough, you can kill it in a few months. (For instance, don't charge it over 90%, and don't discharge it to under 40%. Yes, I know, you're losing 60% off the charge that way. But that's how lithium batteries work. They could have put Gel cells into our phones, but then the phones would weigh 5 pounds or more, and be a lot larger. If you want high power density - meaning small battery size and light batteries, you go for the lightest metal there is, which it lithium until you get down to absolute zero.)
