Why can't my phone connect to server

I just got an lg g3 phone. I deactivated my live account because my phone numbers didn't sync. i thought deactivating it and resetting my account will help. Now it says can't connect to server. What do i do?

Welcome to Android Central! What's the live account? Is it Microsoft's Live.com? Was it syncing with your stock Email app?
