Android Central Question

I got a Huawei P10 in June last year so it's still under warranty but I really don't want to have to send it away or factory reset it if I can help it. So a few weeks ago I began having an issue where whenever I call someone, they can't hear me, and when I end up speaking to the person they all report hearing static and their own voices echoing back to them. Generally when I hang up and ring back it works the second time but a few times it takes over three tries for the call to work. It always works when I call a landline so it seems only a mobile problem. I'm having this problem with multiple people so it's not just one person. I have heard other people say to turn off the OK Google setting which I checked but it was already off. I'm also not on 4G which someone else said was causing their issue. I hope someone knows another fix for this issue as it is such a pain. // Side note: We are in a good cell service area so it's not that and I've tested it standing 10 metres away from the other person and it still doesn't work.

Do you mean that people can hear you when you use a wired or Bluetooth headset, or that you haven't tried it? I'm trying to determine if the problem is with the phone's primary mic. If they can hear you fine on a headset, then that points to the primary mic as the problem.
