Why can't you use data with the Note 5 while on a phone call?

Why can't you use data with the Note 5 while on a phone call

Every time I call out on my note 5 and I want to look something up it saids the following:

Mobile data not available
Mobile data is not available while you're on this call. Apps like email, internet and social networking will work if you are connect to WI-FI.

Can anyone tell me why I can't access information using data while I'm on a call?

What carrier do you have? Not all support simultaneous talk and web browsing while on mobile data. If you are using WiFi it should work.
