Why did a random alarm go off on my phone when I didn't set it up?

It only happened yesterday, and I woke up very early at 5:00 am, I was getting ready for the day when a random alarm went off on my phone, it was at 5:45 am, I was very confused why I got an alarm when I didn't set it up, but the creepiest thing was, the screen popped up red when the alarm went off, it happened again and I'm tired of it, please help me!

Is this stock Alarm clock , try safe mode see if it goes away.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you certain it was the Alarm app? Did the tone sound like your default alarm tone?

It was just my phone alarm, so pretty weird, and no, it had no alarm sound!

And you're certain you had no alarms set? Could one have been accidentally set?

It's probaly because something bad is going wrong in your area. I just got it and it's a warning about a person. You won't usually get those as it's quite rare. If it happens, be aware of what might happen.

As which city do you live?

I'm asking because I think I know what's going on there.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you talking about an Emergency Wireless Alert? Those usually have a really piercing notification tone. It sounds like the OP actually heard their alarm tone, which would sound much different.

The OP posted as a guest back in Oct 2020, so it's highly unlikely they're paying attention to this thread. Thanks for trying to help, though!
