Why did all of my apps move and why can't I move them back

Hi. I've got a question. Today i noticed something weird. My apps were in different places than they used to be. I tried to move them back but i couldnt, because once i tried it just came back to the position that it had been in before. Does anyone know what happened and how can i fix it?

It sounds like your apps probably moved while the device was in your pocket and then lock home screen layout got turned on.

Welcome to Android Central! Another possibility is that you turned on Easy Mode.
